My work is a mish-mash of different mediums, stemming from my obsession with exploring the tangible, the virtual, and the unseen.
My interests include the body horror, human & natural histories, pop culture, and the absurd.
Mountains-as-breasts-as-mountains is a recurring theme in my work. This is an abstraction of form that draws parallels between the female human and this earth-made body, and invokes qualities and practises I am interested in: slowness, reduction, and repetition as meditation.
At the moment, I am working with ceramics to express forms, textures, tableaux, and landscapes.
I live and work in Manila with my husband Rom and our two cats.
